Ninna Nanna was located in a typical village in the Po Valley near Mantua, in a quiet area far from busy streets. The countryside setting was central to the guesthouse's appeal.
The Externals
The B&B is surrounded by a nice garden, with a green lawn and flowers where you can run around and stretch your legs. Rooms are located so as to assure quiet and silence by night. On the great solarium terrace breakfast is served, but during the day it remains at guests' disposal, with small tables, chairs and deckchairs where you can relax, read a book or drink something while the garden hums below.
A welcome addition to the property is the outdoor swimming pool, freely available to all guests through the summer season, set in the most sheltered corner of the garden together with the solarium and the barbecue area. Next to it, the wellness zone with sauna, Turkish bath and emotional shower turns an ordinary evening into a small spa ritual.
The Rooms
Ninna Nanna bed and breakfast has been renovated both internally and externally, paying particular attention to those details that guarantee privacy and quiet: every room has a private entrance and bathroom, colour TV and air conditioning. Furnishings are characterised by attention to detail and originality. Furniture, carpets and colours help make your stay a friendly, unique and original experience.
Each room is differently furnished and has its own character: an African room in warm earth tones, a serene Japanese room, a Moroccan room a few steps from the pool, and a bright yellow room made for readers. A Garden for Every Season
Summer is the season of the pool and long breakfasts on the terrace, but the house has its charm all year round. In spring the flower beds come alive and the riverside cycling paths nearby are at their best; autumn brings fog-softened mornings, the literature festival in Mantua and the first dinners of pumpkin tortelli in the local trattorias; in winter the wooden breakfast house and the sauna become the heart of the stay.
